"I'VE GOT YOUR SIGN!"

As Bill Engvall is known for saying, "I've got your sign!" I have added cut out signs to my inventory of other wood work that I make. I had been asked to do so for many months now, and have finally gotten caught up enough to make a few different ones.

If you have an idea, let me know. Send me a picture with the sign, color, etc. and I will give you a price.

VINTAGE LAWN CHAIRS WITH A "FACE LIFT"!

The two chairs above are Russel Wright chairs. My youngest son and his wife are Auburn fans, and since Clay loved these chairs, I custom painted them for him and Tonya as Birthday presents. I am sure I brought the value down on the chairs when I painted them, but they loved them, so that makes them priceless!
These are old tractor seats on iron bases, with a vintage milk can serving as a table. Just right for the annual Georgia/Florida Cocktail Party!
Big Al and UGA sitting in the driveway waiting for their new owner to pick them up. They now live happily in Gainesville, Ga.
Al and UGA at Chastain Park, Atlanta, moments before their departure.
This was a custom order for a die hard fan. I am pleased to say that he was very happy with the work that we did for him.
Janet did this one for someone who is a fan of the Game Cocks. This was a very hard piece, due to the detail work of the artwork.
When I can find the antique tractor seat and milk can, I will make an "Aubie", just to have ready. I know as soon as I take it to a show, it will go home with a new owner. Most of the time they will order at least 1 more.
This is my version of the famous bulldog.
This was another part of the custom order that went to Gainesville, Georgia. It was 2 weeks before Christmas, and Boy!, did we ever have a good Christmas that year!
The cabin scene was a custom order and the Falcons was just because we are Falcons fans.
I had a show at the Tallahassee Fair Grounds, which is just a few blocks from FSU. Those folks are Seminole Crazy down there!

HORSE SENSE X 2!

These two heads are approximately 4ft. tall each. Each very colorful and can be hung with a more natural incline.

When finished, I will take either and old leather belt or jute rope to make a harness.

This is my most popular item, so I am constantly making more, each one with its own color combination. If you order one, I can make it to your specifications(assuming I have the colors available).

BRINGING HOME THE BACON!

Here is Ole Porky, a pig that I made from recycled bead board that came from a house in Winder, Ga. Note the eye: an outdoor water faucet handle!

Let me know if you would like one for your place. He is great for a BBQ Joint, Motorcycle shop(Hog), or many other places.

I can customize to your specifications.

THESE BOOTS ARE MADE FOR WALKING!

Thank you, Nancy Sinatra, for the title to this post. These are some of my folk art pieces made from recycled bead board. The accents on the boots are old belts. E-mail me for prices. I would be happy to send you my complete list of items with pictures and prices.

MILK CAN CRAFTS

Here are two dairy milk cans with tractor seats attached. I say tractor seats, but actually the seats pre-date tractors and came from horse drawn farm equipment. The milk cans are also very rare, as they have not been used commercially for many years.
This is a vintage milk can with a 1950's metal cocktail table top attached. The two seats are reproductions made of cast iron.
The metal chair is from the late 30's. We paint on almost anything!
These are the sides to a vintage metal porch glider. The customer said that he was from a "House Divided" and could not decide on Alabama or Georgia, so we came up with this solution.
This is a picture of the glider when we finished. The customer was speechless. We did a great job, if I do say so myself.
A look at a selection of vintage chairs that Janet painted.
For some reason the computer reprinted this picture, so enjoy it a second time.
A Christmas gift for some deer friends, even though it's the wrong team.
My son, Clay had admired the two Russell Wright chairs above. Since his birthday and his wife, Tonya's birthday are close together, and they are Auburn fans, this is the results.
Since there are so many teams that use a bulldog, we paint a generic dog that seems to please our customers, as we sell all that we paint.
Janet said that the Gamecock was the most detailed logo so far.
A customer order for a repeat customer.
The customer had asked Janet to paint a mountain scene of her choice. This is what Janet found on the internet.
We have to use the milk cans that we find, dents or whatever. When Janet was about to paint the Falcons on this can, she commented on just one handle. I told her it was perfect for the Falcons, because they get beat up a lot and often look ragtag at the end of the season.
Last year I had a show just 3 blocks from FSU. Those fans love their Seminoles!
The quality of my picture taking leaves much to be desired. Although the photos are off color, the actual pieces are dead-on in color.
A 1930's lawn chair honoring LSU.
The customer that ordered the two LSU pieces was well pleased with Janet's work.
I restored and painted this chair and gave it to her the first time we met, "just to seal the deal." It sits on our front porch to welcome all of guests.

INDIAN CHIEF

The Chief is made from bead board, about 3ft. high. I laugh when I see this piece because the "eye" is an accident. While holding the grinder(I was removing rough edges), and admiring my work, I let the still running grinder touch the wood EXACTLY where the eye should be. $350.
