A VERY LARGE PARROT HOUSE!

In New York City, this cage would be considered a studio apartment, it is so large. Standing almost 9ft. tall, this has to be one of the biggest pieces of furniture that I have ever owned.
It was custom built by a friend of mine who is a furniture maker by trade. He had a large African parrot and built this beautiful house for him. He no longer has the bird and has moved to a smaller house and did not need it.
As luck would have it, I had some building materials that he needed for more custom work, so a trade was born.
He placed a retail value of $1800 on it, and to my thinking, that was a little low. However, I am in the business of buying and selling, so I will take his word for it.
While I am on the subject, if you would like this house for your parrot or small birds(just screen the insides) or even reptiles, contact me. I will sell it for far less than the appraised value, as I do not own birds and someone needs to enjoy this. As always, if you send your friend to me and they make the purchase, you get a commission, how fair is that?

My son, Joe, is standing beside the house and at 6ft. looks rather small in comparison. I have decided that if I do not sell it, it would look good in my house as modern art, since I have the high ceilings that it requires.

GUITAR MAN--SWEET MUSIC!

Not to be able to play a note, I think I did a good job on my guitars. They measure a little over 6 feet each. I cut the pattern from plywood then covered each on with bead board. There is an old headlight grille, wine corks for tuning knobs, tequila bottle tops, and part of a rusty door hinge in this one.
The Red White and Blue guitar is in honor of the Republic of Texas. It features a Texas truck tag in the head, with a cast iron lone star and piece of ceiling tin in the body. A long play record acts as the sound hole.

I have several others with such things as car parts, gaming pieces, and other interesting things. If you would like to know more, contact me. I can custom make one to your design.

"I'VE GOT YOUR SIGN!"

As Bill Engvall is known for saying, "I've got your sign!" I have added cut out signs to my inventory of other wood work that I make. I had been asked to do so for many months now, and have finally gotten caught up enough to make a few different ones.

If you have an idea, let me know. Send me a picture with the sign, color, etc. and I will give you a price.

VINTAGE LAWN CHAIRS WITH A "FACE LIFT"!

The two chairs above are Russel Wright chairs. My youngest son and his wife are Auburn fans, and since Clay loved these chairs, I custom painted them for him and Tonya as Birthday presents. I am sure I brought the value down on the chairs when I painted them, but they loved them, so that makes them priceless!
These are old tractor seats on iron bases, with a vintage milk can serving as a table. Just right for the annual Georgia/Florida Cocktail Party!
Big Al and UGA sitting in the driveway waiting for their new owner to pick them up. They now live happily in Gainesville, Ga.
Al and UGA at Chastain Park, Atlanta, moments before their departure.
This was a custom order for a die hard fan. I am pleased to say that he was very happy with the work that we did for him.
Janet did this one for someone who is a fan of the Game Cocks. This was a very hard piece, due to the detail work of the artwork.
When I can find the antique tractor seat and milk can, I will make an "Aubie", just to have ready. I know as soon as I take it to a show, it will go home with a new owner. Most of the time they will order at least 1 more.
This is my version of the famous bulldog.
This was another part of the custom order that went to Gainesville, Georgia. It was 2 weeks before Christmas, and Boy!, did we ever have a good Christmas that year!
The cabin scene was a custom order and the Falcons was just because we are Falcons fans.
I had a show at the Tallahassee Fair Grounds, which is just a few blocks from FSU. Those folks are Seminole Crazy down there!
