Not to be able to play a note, I think I did a good job on my guitars. They measure a little over 6 feet each. I cut the pattern from plywood then covered each on with bead board. There is an old headlight grille, wine corks for tuning knobs, tequila bottle tops, and part of a rusty door hinge in this one.
The Red White and Blue guitar is in honor of the Republic of Texas. It features a Texas truck tag in the head, with a cast iron lone star and piece of ceiling tin in the body. A long play record acts as the sound hole.
I have several others with such things as car parts, gaming pieces, and other interesting things. If you would like to know more, contact me. I can custom make one to your design.
